Warm Hands, Warm Hearts Food Drive
February 22nd – 28th @ ASRC 2nd Floor
February can be a tough part of the term; cold weather, busy schedules, and midterm stress all hit at once. Warm Hands, Warm Hearts is Campus Rec’s way of supporting students during winter with community events focused on comfort, care, and connection.
For the final week of February, we'll be hosting a PSU Pantry Food Drive. Food drive donation bins will be located on the 2nd floor of the Academic and Student Recreation Center near the Member Services desk.

Light Therapy Lamps
Did you know the Rec Center has light therapy lamps in the second floor lounge? During the short and dark Pacific Northwest Winter months, students can begin to feel the effects of SAD (seasonal affective disorder). Light therapy lamps can help by providing exposure to bright artificial lights during times of reduced sunshine. As little as 20 minutes of exposure can improve sleep, mood, energy levels, and focus. Visit the Rec Center and study, read, eat a snack, or visit with friends while receiving the benefits of our light therapy lamps!
