Hey guys,

Jeff Whalen told me about a website that tests a few of your listening abilities.  It's really cool and you should all give it a shot.  There are tests to determine your ability to distinguish differences in pitch(frequency), rhythmic phrases, and musical phrases.  Check them out:

Good luck!

my scores disappointed me a little. Always thought I had a pretty good
ear...My scores:

tone-deaf: 80.6% Correct -- 69th percentile
rhythm: 76.0% correct -- 58th percentile
adaptive pitch: 1.05 Hz -- 74th percentile

You should see my pitch perception score - I always knew I was tone-deaf but this is completely embarrassing.  I wasn't too bad for the others, but jeez, so this is why my choir teacher gave up on me!  Good thing I'm an engineer and not a musician...
