Is William Clinton really going to be a competent leader? I am a very
conservative republican who is obviously disappointed by the outcome
of the election. However, I have to be patriotic and accept the fact
that our country will be "run" by a democrat. I have to accept it but
I do not have to like it. Today is tuesday the 19th of January and
President-elect Clinton has flaundered on the issues (i.e. Haiti and
his economic plan) even before his official acceptance of presidency.
Very, Very, Sad.
I am anxious to recieve (sp) comments on my comment and feel that I am
a fairly open minded person-even for a republican.

Aww, be nice to the guy. Look what he's up against:

Most presidents who have had pets had dogs - truly loyal to the
master and supportive in every way. But Bill has a cat.

Bill's a democrat, and everybody knows that a cat is an independent.

(Yeah, and that's it for the curtains in the Lincoln Room too.)
