ABOUT THE PROGRAMS

Penn State announces plans to offer two half-day, continuing professional
education programs for insurance and financial services professionals.
Planning for Distributions from Retirement Plans and Maximizing Retirement
Plan Contributions will be offered this fall, over the course of one day,
at dates and sites across the Commonwealth. Both programs address
retirement planning issues and better planning techniques to meet the
needs of clients.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The programs are designed for insurance agents, estate planners, financial
advisers, accountants, attorneys, and other professionals who advise their
clients in estate and retirement planning.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
*********************************
These seminars are eligible for: continuing professional education (CPE )
credits from the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy, the Certified
Financial Planner (CFP) Board of Standards, the Pennsylvania, Delaware,
New Jersey, Ohio and West Virginia insurance departments, PACE credits and
Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits from the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.

October 21, Penn State Harrisburg

October 29, Penn State Lehigh Valley (to be held in Allentown)
November 2, Penn State Delaware County
November 2, Penn State Beaver (to be held in Monaca)
November 3, Penn State DuBois
November 4, Penn State Wilkes-Barre
November 11, Penn State Altoona
November 16, Penn State Abington (to be held in Philadelphia)

Planning for Distributions from Retirement Plans will run from 8:00 to
11:45 a.m. and Maximizing Retirement Plan Contributions will be held from
1:00 to 4:45 p.m.

In addition to offering the programs at Penn State campus locations across
the state, options are available for agencies or organizations who wish to
offer the programs on-site.
