About the Institute and Your Professional Development

The Institute, designed for managers, employees, and volunteers of credit
unions and credit union leagues, is sponsored annually by the Pennsylvania
Credit Union League, in cooperation with The Smeal College of Business
Administration at Penn State. University faculty members join with
representatives from the credit union movement to stimulate thought and
provide up-to-date information and instruction. You will work with the
experts to learn the latest approaches to credit union management through
the use of group discussion, case studies, lectures, and practice with
actual business situations. By
combining an academic atmosphere with the opportunity to network with
credit union colleagues, the Institute fosters a better understanding of
the uniqueness of credit unions, the volunteers and employees who operate
them, and the individuals who look to credit unions for their financial
needs. Completion of this three-year course of study has become a
recognized symbol of personal achievement in the credit union system
today.
