The conference objective is to explore new developments and applications
in the processing of micron and submicron powders. Progress in the science
and technology of particle systems has frequently occurred in the domain
of specific industries; thus, applications and academic developments in
one area are often not recognized in others. This conference is a forum
for the science and technologies associated with fine powder processing to
convene. Emphasis will be placed on classification, processing, fine
grinding technologies, and agglomeration. The goal is to explore new
developments and novel processing alternatives and to share technologies
across industry and disciplinary boundaries.
