Who can attend: All are welcome.

Mushroom workparty in the Orchard & Community Garden

The PSU Community Orchard is one of the spaces on campus that ERG will be taking a lead role in stewarding. Event description below!

Details: Wednesday, Oct 10, 3.30 - 5 pm in the Community Garden (SW 12th and Montgomery)
Agenda

3.30 pm - 4 pm: Meet and Greet. To reconnect with old members, introduce this year's officers, and welcome new members.
4 pm - 5pm: Find new homes for our ~4 new mushroom kits!

Who can attend: All are welcome.

Montgomery Permaculture Garden 2010 re-plant!

 This year, we will also be working on... 

  1. The Montgomery Permaculture Garden
    Location: SW Montgomery and 6th Avenue
    Project: Established in 2009, and re-planted in 2010, this garden is waiting for ERG-ers to take it to the next level!
     
  2. The Library Labyrinth Garden
    Location: In front of the PSU Library
    Project: Help us plan and plant a labyrinth garden to restore this space for ecological art and meditation.

Still in the planning phase, so bring your resources and energy to the picnic table!

  1. PSU Art and Social Practice Conversation Series presents
    Greg Tudor of Friends of Trees

    Wednesday, October 10, 2012, 1-2pm PST.

    Field Work at the corner of SW 11th and Jefferson
    The public is invited (it's free, tell your friends)

    A LIVE AUDIO stream of the conversation will be available at our website, www.psusocialpractice.org.  A podcast of the conversation will also be available shortly after the event.
     
  2. PSU Environmental Club meeting
    Monday, October 8th, 4:00-5:00pm in Smith Union, room M113.

    Some discussion topics on our agenda are:
    E-waste Event update
    No Ivy Day
    Gardening Schedule
    Orchard Care/Maintenance (rainwater catchment system)
    Social Sustainability Month
