Hey guys,
My name is Hank Stein and I am a student in the University of Montana SER student guild. I am the 2013 student member for the Society for Ecological Restoration NW this year. SERNW is offering a great workshop in Port Angeles about soil bioenineering and then a tour of the Elwha Restoration Site. It should be a great opportunity to learn all about a restoration practice and then see a large scale restoration project that uses some of the techniques, all in the NW. Below is all the details, hope to see y'all there!

Mark your calendars for a *Soil Bioengineering Workshop to be held October 18-20 in Port Angeles, WA, with Dave Polster, SER-BC Board member*. He has pioneered restoration methodologies that re-integrate natural succession processes to create productive, self-sustaining ecosystems, focusing on soil restoration. A field day of hands on techniques will be held on Sunday.
Board member Joshua Chenoweth, Restoration Botanist with Olympic National Park, *will lead a tour of Elwha restoration sites on Friday*, with the workshop held Saturday and Sunday, at the beautiful NatureBridge Conference Center in Port Angeles.
