Hello group members!

I have just got word that the conference registration is opening soon, and SER-NW is allowing students to volunteer for 8 hours in order to receive free registration. Please check your calendars and let me know soon if you are planning on attending. We will likely drive up in a private vehicle (since we cannot use SALP funds for out-of-the-U.S travel). There is a chance that we will be able to receive reimbursement for our travel expenses as well. The conference takes place mid-week during the Spring term, but will be an excellent opportunity to network with our student guild peers and restoration professionals from around the region. Also, remember that travel to Canada requires a valid passport. If you cannot get your passport in time for travel, don't even bother trying to cross (believe me!).
