Hey all,

We need to have a volunteer day figured out by tomorrow! The time
slips by so quickly, so let's get one together. I, unfortunately will
not be able to make it on Saturday. I'm participating in crew leader
training for Friends of Trees all day.

Let's come up with something anyway, though! Kevin mentioned another
ivy day.

Here are a few things going on through Hands on Greater Portland:
Come volunteer in Portland Parks’ natural areas in the outer southwest
region. Some of these include Dickinson Park, Marshall Park, and
Maricara Park. Specific park location will be determined prior to the
work party.

Join Portland Parks and Recreation and our partner Friends groups for
a morning of urban forest renewal. Its fun, close-in, accessible, and
very important work for not only the ecosystem but for parks users as
well. Lets help maintain these high-quality natural areas for people,
native plants, and wildlife!

Green Space Restoration Day with Friends of Trees
Join a group of environmentally-minded volunteers to plant native
trees, shrubs and grasses. No experience necessary! Trained crew
leaders will be on hand to guide you along the way and coffee, snacks,
gloves and tools will be provided
