Private verses Public - we've done both

Greetings fellow parents!

We have two children, live in the city, and our oldest is graduating
from J.R. Masterman High School this year. We did The Philadelphia
School (private) through 4th grade, then we were fortunate to get into
Masterman AND it was a good fit for our daughter. It has been a very
good experience, though really different from private school. Now,
our youngest is at Friends Select in the third grade.

My advice to everyone - know your child and look at all the options
available to you. Not everyone is a great fit for Masterman and not
all private schools are the same. There are some really good Charter
schools out there too. I hear great stories from fellow parents all
the time.
