Your PSP can be much more than a handheld gaming device. You can use
your PSP to listen to music, even watch movies. The question is, how
to put movies on your PSP? Though this may seem confusing to some,
even those who know it can be done, it's actually a very simple
process.
First, you have to have the right equipment. You need to have a DVD
player installed on your computer, for starters (otherwise, how are
you going to get the DVDs that you want on your PSP?). You'll also
need a DVD ripper to pull the DVD off your computer, to make them
ready for use on your PSP. This equipment should be on your PC. Once
you have it, you'll learn how to put movies on your PSP with no
trouble at all. Then, you can watch any DVD right on your own handheld
PSP - so your favorite movies will go with you, wherever you travel.
A 512 MB Pro Duo Stick for your PSP is necessary, as this is what
holds your video and DVD files on the PSP itself. You will also need a
PSP video converter, which will convert the DVD into data that your
PSP can read. You can download this software for free on the Internet
if it does not come with your DVD ripping program, as many of them do.
Last but not least, you will need your PSP and a USB cable.
Believe it not, all that stuff is "the hard part." Now, you can learn
how to put movies on your PSP. Connect your PC and PSP. Create a
folder on the memory stick and name it MP_ROOT, with a folder inside
called 100MNV01. Now, all you need to do is rip the DVD you want on
your PSP, convert it, and copy it to this location as an MP4 file.
Once you know how to put movies on your PSP, you might not be able to
stop! You'll want to keep watching all the time. The good news is, you
can!
Good Luck Putting Movies on Your PSP!!
