to PSP Movies Games Downloads
I am going to show you how you can download and run homebrew games on
your PSP. It really is simple if you have the right firmware on your
PSP, and know how to copy the files over to your PSP. Since newer
games require that you have firmware 2.00, there are alternatives so
that you can trick the system into thinking that you have 2.00
installed, but are actually running 1.5. Let's get started.
The first thing that you need to do is to realize that in order for
your PSP to run homebrew games, you must downgrade your PSP's
firmware. The firmware that you have is most likely the newest
version. The firmware gets installed when you put in a new game that
has a version newer that you have installed. This can be a problem
when wanting to play homebrew, because you would have to downgrade
every time you play a newer game.
There is a trick that will allow you to run version 1.5, which allows
brew, and trick your system so that newer games think that you are on
version 2.00. This does require a good manual that you can follow step-
by-step. Once you are done with the downgrade you will be able to play
homebrew games and new games.
The next thing that you have to do is to find a place that you can
download homebrew PSP games online. There are several online services
that will allow unlimited downloads, but you need to know which ones
are crap, and the ones that are good. Make sure that the service that
you choose has a good tech support team and that they offer all the
software that you will need to downgrade and copy your files to your
PSP.
After choosing the best service to download your games, the only thing
left is to follow the directions. You will need to know how to
downgrade to either firmware version 1.51 or 1.52, and trick your
system to thinking it is running version 2.00. This will allow you to
run both new games and homebrew PSP games.
When you are done downgrading you will be able to play new games, PSX
games, gameboy games, sega, NES, SNES, etc. on your PSP. The best
thing is that you will be able to download new games off of the
Internet and never buy a game again. I love the service that I have. I
have not bought a game in over a year now.
