Common Craft is a website that has a GREAT collection of videos that
explain in plain language what many different tools are - wikis,
podcasting, social networking etc.
I strongly encourage you to have a look at these videos if you are even a little bit unsure as to what these tools are. Here are links to particular videos, but you can just visit the site itself to see what they all are (http://www.commoncraft.com)
