Dear Colleagues
Hope you had a great holiday and that 2009 is starting well.

We are writing to invite all participants from the 2008 Professional Standards Project Stream B to present at this year's MLTAV Conference.
We have had some people expressing interest already and thought it would be great to have 3 presenters each do a 15-20 minute presentation related to their investigation or something they have done as a result of the PSP project. A workshop session is 55 minutes so with 3 people doing mini-presentations it would be a great way to share your knowledge and experience with colleagues.
The conference will be held on Friday 15 May at the Hemisphere Convention Centre, Centre Rd Moorabbin.
All presenters at the MLTAV conference receive free registration and it is always a great day of Professional Learning and networking with colleagues.
Please email Heather Brown - Conference Co-Convenor if you have any queries or to indicate your interest -  Brown.Heather.Jo@edumail.vic.gov.au

Looking forward to seeing many of you there!
Best Regards
Kylie Farmer

PS - I also wanted to let you know that Federal funding has just been announced for a Stream C of the PSP project to focus on Assessment. There will also be a repeat of Stream A. More details to be confirmed soon.

If you are short I will give it a try but I am terrified in front of adults at conferences. Ask Catherine Gosling of the German network.

Put in a request for PD Amanda and mention that you have been asked to present at the Conference. After all every teacher needs to have specific PD each year. Good luck! Ask now and you might be surprised by the response, but do not show this email to anyone else please.

Regards,

Heather

Yeah that is not the way it works here – but I have asked them if I may attend and if I could find out earlier than later so I can prepare.

Dear Kylie,

I would have loved to present, however, I am out of school the week following the conference so I do not think I can leave on that day. If there is a possibility next year I would love the opportunity.

Thanks

Tiziana
