Hi all,

The technoLanguages LIVE series kicks off tomorrow night with 'ICT Ideas and Resources for the Languages Classroom.'
It's on at 8pm AEST online using the Elluminate conferencing software. If you would like to come along but aren't sure because you have never used Elluminate before, don't worry, I'll step you through it all.

To enter the Elluminate room you just need to click on the session link and then enter your name, and click login. Your name can be whatever you like, and there is no password required. Once you have clicked login, the Elluminate room will download on to your computer.

You'll need a microphone headset if you want to participate by voice. In Elluminate you will see the presentation - some PPT slides - and a chat window that all participants can use. It's just like instant messaging. You can share links, make comments etc. And you don't have to come to the microphone at all if you don't want to. you can even sit back entirely and just see what the whole thing is like.

If you do come, bring along an idea or resource to share - or even a specific question you have about ICT and languages.

Hope to 'see' some of you there!

Jess
