Hi Everyone,

I received the following from Les LaZar who produced the VolksMeter sensor...

I am reducing my storage space footprint and I would like to divest myself
of the completed Voltmeters and components I am currently holding.
The inventory includes 3 or 4 complete & tested 2-Channel USB Voltmeters
as well as parts (chassis & electronic) for several more, including
shipping boxes and foam. The only missing parts for the unassembled units
are Larry’s interface boards. I have .pdf files for the User’s Manual,
but someone would have to print them as needed.
Currently, everything is occupying three 3’W x 2’D x 6’H sections of
boltless steel shelving, so 18sf. of floor space.
Do you know of anyone that would be willing to take the finished units and
components to continue to sell and support them? I would give them away
for free. I would also be willing to donate them to a worthy non-profit.
I would like to move them out by mid-April.

If interested you can reach Les at Les_...@compuserve.com.

Regards,

Ahhhh that time of life Larry. Never thought of the reality of being here! 🤣 but here I am nevertheless.

Loved seismology. Especially the telemetry. So much help from so many good people. So many opportunities. From USGS Joe, Eric Tofsrud, Sam Gaddis. Steve. Pete Rowe. all you guys at PSN. Loved having access to the innards of Menlo Park to reset our first BBS. Loved having some responsibility and a mission. Made me feel useful. Helpful beyond my technical skills.

Loved the science. Hearing my alarms sound and watching as the signals rolled by. Awesome. Special thanks to you Larry for being mentor and setting my curiosity on fire. Love you guys. Gonna miss it. Bobbie
Is helping put together a few more things I’ve had tucked away. I’ll ask her to reach out later to donate. Best to you all!
