Hi Bob,

I have started a new thread.

You shared two time series (looks like Swarm) and I am a little disappointed in how the MOHO looks at higher frequencies and if possible share with us the same series in the frequency domain with "log power" turned off in spectral options.

Maybe also is there a low pass activated in the ADC in Earthworm.

Thanks,

Angel

Hi Angel,

Yes, it's Swarm.  Here's the plots you asked for (log power is off).  And there is no filtering in the ADC in Earthworm.

First and second plots are the Moho, plots 3 and 4 are the Guralp CMG-40T.

Bob,

I would like to see this:

the option is under "spectra option"  uncheck log power,

Bob,

Something is not right.  Image I sent is from one of my broad bands.  You really must be able to see the microseismicity in a quite piece of the time series and get something like what I posted.  Please select a quiet part and then do the FFT.

Bob,

This looks better!   You can see that the MOHO is noisy around 100 seconds and if you play with the filter on a derived channel you might put a HP at 50 seconds and you will see the rest of the signal come.  You can set a filter in the window that you have the display..

Ah, good.  I was worried I had misadjusted the Moho.  Ok on the filters, I'll give that a try.
