Hey everyone!  First and foremost I wanted to apologize for not attending our last AMSA meeting of the academic year, but I had to attend to a personal matter.  I found out after the meeting that I was voted for the AMSA's Members Choice Awards and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you guys for this recognition which means a lot to me.  As the project manager, I was involved with several AMSA projects, mainly Vieques "Hablemos de sexo", that allowed our members to bring their expertise, dedication, willingness to learn, and leadership to the community.  I am grateful for having the opportunity to work with you guys and being able to show our passion to the field of medicine and to the community we serve.  Although I won this award, all of the members of AMSA are deserving of it as well since all these projects would not have been possible without your efforts!

And with that said, THANK YOU!
