Dear Colleagues
Hope this note finds you well. I am writing to tell you about an online course in Tackling Antimicrobial Resistance designed by the Fleming Fund. It is meant for a variety of professionals – laboratory scientists, clinical practitioners, data scientists, epidemiologists, policymakers – who work in human or animal health, and who have an interest in addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR). It is also a good introduction for anyone who wants to learn more about AMR. The aim of the course is to help participants identify, develop and apply skills and knowledge relevant to their roles as an AMR professional in order to change and improve their working practices.
The 25-module online course is provided to everyone around the world completely free. 23 modules are available so far, with the remaining two being released soon. Course content includes videos, diagrams, reflective activities, self-assessment questions and quizzes.
Successful completion of each module is rewarded with a digital badge. Digital badges are like a certificate: they demonstrate that someone has gained a skill and are evidence of their work and achievement on the module. They can be downloaded and shared on social media profiles on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.
Information is available on the Fleming Fund website Fleming Fund Online AMR Course: new modules! | Fleming Fund
