Hi all,
We've changed the way the PSM handles user passwords, so that they're more secure. The new system is compliant with FIPS. See issue
#465 or PR
#537 for more details about this change, or respond to this thread with questions.
Most immediately, this means that
if you made a user account on the PSM demo site (
demo.psm.solutionguidance.com),
your password may have changed. Right now, all the passwords match the usernames. If your username was "jdoe," for example, then your password is also "jdoe." There isn't anything confidential on the demo site, so this is a fine pattern for now (and one that we use in our sample data), but you may want to change your password.
If you have any questions about this or trouble logging in, respond to this thread or reach out to me and we'll get it sorted out. Thank you for participating in PSM development.
