Hi Community & Mentors,

My name is Tejas Padole, an undergraduate student and Open Source enthusiast.

I have recently started contributing to the pslab-python repository. My PR #263 (fixing the Frequency TypeError and crash issues) is currently under review.

I am highly interested in working on this project for GSoC 2026, specifically focusing on "Stabilization, Test Coverage, and CI/CD Pipelines".

I have drafted a preliminary proposal and would appreciate your feedback to align it with the project's roadmap.

Hi Mentors & Community,

Just following up with an updated version of my draft proposal!

Over the past week, I have made significant progress. I have:

  1. Provided the requested video screencast and technical explanation for my open PR #263 (Fixing the TypeError) and opened Issue #270.

  2. Successfully merged a PR into the core Scikit-learn library and currently have a complex feature PR under review there.

I have updated my proposal to reflect this new open-source experience and refined my project timeline. I would be really grateful if you could take a quick look at the updated draft.

Thanks again! Tejas Padole
