I'm debugging a newish antenna and HF isn't all that great at my QTH currently.  I've used PSKReporter for years and it's proven to be invaluable at debugging.

It can be frustrating to see a lot of spots in one's grid while one's own station is mediocre.  One skewing factor is what I might call "super stations".  For instance, lucky hams with some acreage, a tall tower, linear amp, etc.  So what initially looks to be like a good deal of spotting activity in your grid in  turns out to be just a couple of truly exemplary stations that out-shine mere mortals.

It might be helpful if there was some way to make lookups that allowed us to omit certain call signs or perhaps to limit by antenna type or power.  (For example, < 100 watts and a dipole.)  But that would be fully dependent on how well people have populated their software's reporting.  So the better approach might be Boolean NOT's or some other ad hoc methodology to allow us to omit known heavy-hitters in our grids.  I wouldn't do this all the time, but just on occasion when I'm trying to figure out what a "normal" modest station might experience for TX/RX at a given point in time.

Just my two-bits for possible future consideration.

Hi Paul,

I am currently working on a couple of web site components (see below) with live feeds from PSK Reporter data. Here are some insights on the data.

Hope this helps!
Don - KW2AIR

From an antenna and power of the sending station are limited as follows:
Antenna info: can come from WSJT-X station/reporting settings, if configured and transmitted.
Rig info: can come from the reporting software/station setup, but may be absent.
Power level: generally not part of PSKReporter reception reports. WSJT-X knows your TX power only if you enter/log it elsewhere, but PSKReporter reports are primarily “who heard whom, where, when, on what frequency/mode, at what SNR.”
Reliability: freeform fields are operator-entered and inconsistent. Many monitors leave them blank, stale, vague, or software-specific.

So filtering psk data by power and antenna is not viable. Alternatively, call signs can be filtered out. See C. Below is another component I'm developing for DX-Cluster where call signs can be easily filtered, with an AI query to limit results further.

A. Select Grid Field - you can limit the aggregation by the first two characters of the sending station received with in a region. Most helpful as you can see what is being received your are in this case FN = Northeast and Eastern Canada

B. All Grid Fields - This represents worldwide contacts being received

C. DX Cluster with Fitlering (not all fitler options show) (not using PSK Reporter)
