Map Doesn't Show Many Stations I’m Decoding (FT8)

This is a persistent issue, and I’m not sure what causes it. Using WSJT-X 2.2.2 and I will decode far more stations than PSK Reporter will show on my map of received stations, even after I refresh the search. I realize that the system is under heavy load and it takes some time to update, but even so, many of the stations seen in my RX panel, even with rather strong signals…never show up, no matter how long I wait. It does this on all bands, regardless of overall activity level. 

It almost appears that there is a bug in WSJT, where it doesn’t send a complete list of all received stations to PSK Reporter. I’ve looked for some kind of setting to adjust, but cannot find one.

Any ideas?

Hi Dennis

WSJT only sends reorts to PSKR if it is a CQ ie CQ W1LJ FN23.

Not sure about W1LJ GW8ASA IO81

Hi Gordon,

that's nearly correct. Only decoded standard messages containing a DX call and grid are spotted.

Based on your comments, I'd to ask for one last clarification:

On the left window of the WSJT program, named "Band Activity"  - I typically do NOT have "CQ Only" checked. Therefore, I see many ongoing QSOs and exchanges in the FT8 bandwidth - whatever my station can decode. 

For example, I might see : WA1VUG  L21RCA  R-05.     I am decoding L21RCA, which is a DX station for me - but he has not called CW, nor is he engaged in a conversation with me. However, this message is one of the standard messages one can  exchange during a QSO.  So...the question is rather simple: should WSJT be sending L21RCA over to PSR Reporter, so I can see him pop up on my map of received stations?

If so, this is where my problem comes in. I have noticed that I will decode far more DX stations on the left side window, which never make it to PSK reporter and do not pop up on my map.
