Hi

I am using a Raspberry Pi with a small screen to display my reception reports. A lot of the screen is taken up by the options and text info. There is an option in the display settings to show "Map Only" but this seems to have no effect.

Is there a way to just show the map with my contacts and nothing else?

Easy. Simulate a phone browser.

You'll get three blue arrows at the top of the screen for accessing the options.

Part of the problem is that, while you can set the fullscreen option to true, the browser will not fullscreen the display unless it was done as part of a user interaction. Thus, you can't start in full screen mode.

However, if you are running chromium then you can add the --kiosk option to the invocation and it will start fullscreen.

I will look at why 'hide everythingbut the map' no longer works.

The hide everything but the map option now works. The bad news is that the only way of escaping this mode is to set the hidemax=0 parameter in the URL. However, it now does do what it was claimed to do. Use at your own risk.

I also fixed the bug where the legend showed up when you loaded the map page.

Many thanks - the hide everything but the map now works - However I can't get --kiosk to work - I have just added @--kiosk to the end of the url but that doesn't  seem to work.

the --kiosk is an argument to the browser when you start it.

How do you run the hidemax=0 argument in Chrome, and how in Edge? I'm having trouble getting the menu back in Edge and a friend is having trouble in Chrome.

If you do a shift-reload to get the latest version of the web page, then a small X should appear in the top right hand corner of the full-page page, and clicking that will bring manu the menus.
