PSI Client (2010.1) opens minimized

Good afternoon All;

 

What is the cure for the PSI client that Open Minimized.  I know we covered this in Yahoo Groups, but I don’t have immediate access to my saved e-mails from Yahoo Groups.

Make a new shortcut then delete the old one, comes to mind.

HI Randall,

 

Hover over the icon on the task bar the right click on the little box that appears and select maximize.   Make sure to close out PSI  Maximized as it remembers the last way it was closed.

This may not be the right solution to your issue, but we’re running 2010.1 and PSI opens minimized frequently and does not open the window when left-clicked on the taskbar.

 

To get it open, I hover over the PSI icon on the task bar until the preview pane appears, right click the preview pane, maximize.

The problem is, the windows positioning coordinates are goofed up. 
Another way to fix it is to set them to sane values here:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\EFI\EFI-PSI\2010.1\Settings

Put cursor over icon in taskbar. When the small window opens above the taskbar, move cursor to that window, right click and maximize.
