Macola error while posting "Record Locked At Another Station"

Good morning everyone.

We are having an issue while posting in Macola. Has anyone see this error?

"Record Locked at Another Station" while Posting under General Ledger > Processes > Post from Sub Ledger

We are using Macola Progression 7.6.300B - SQL with PSI 11.0.47

I've made sure no one is/was using Macola at the time this happened.

I’ve seen this before when trying to post to subledger. In my case, a user was trying to post AR to subledger and received a similar message.

 

The cause was that they had an empty record open in the Cash Receipts module. All they had to do was close Cash Receipts and it went through. You’re able to find Macola’s queued batch queries in ARBATFIL_SQL. (I thought there were more __BATFIL_SQL tables for AP and GL, but apparently not)

 

Not sure if my experience is applicable to your current situation, but figured I’d share, nonetheless.
