Good morning everyone,
I came into the office today and PSI was giving us this error message
Allowed DO nesting or expression evaluation level exceeded
Does anyone have an idea what I need to do to fix that?

We had a similar issue in the past—both on v12.1 & 13.0. If you go into your PSI data folder, there is likely a file named GETOUT or NOUSER. Delete and you should be good to go.

Bernard-
If your issue is one of permission. PSI has a master password that they can use to login to your system and then they can reset the admin password.

Help, I was fiddling with the users and broke something. Now when I try to login to PSI, I get the above error message and cannot login, even as ADMIN.
I vaguely remember seeing this post before so hopefully someone can tell me what the fix is.
Thanks

I didn’t think the old YAHOO GROUP was even available any more (since Verizon bought Yahoo) – I know that is when we set-up the GOOGLE GROUP.
The fix for the “DO nesting” error you need to use the ‘MAGIC BUTTON”:
Hopefully you can get to the Company Selector screen:

Highlight the Company and click on “Properties”
This should bring up the following screen:

Highlight the “Database:” line and that will make the details button active.
Click on Details and that will ask for server information including Server Name, SA and Password. This must fix something in BDEFAULT (a FoxPro table) or one of the tables in PSI_SYS database – maybe something in both. In many cases, when I do a system upgrade or move a db to a new SQL server, I have to do this several times before I “convince” PSI to restart/behave.
In some cases, I have to go into the PSI “Data” Folder for the company and delete some files:

PSI will use the “BAK” versions or recreate them. Again, I’m not sure why this works. It can be a bit of a battle.
Hopefully you have NOT corrupted the security tables (also FoxPro):

DEFS1 & DEFS3 are the PSI security tables. These are in the “\System” folder in the PSI share. I always encourage people to save these to a flash drive that is in a fireproof safe. Many clients have a SQL backup, but don’t backup the files required to “restart” PSI in a catastrophe.
Hope this helps.
