Has anyone come up with a way to monitor a folder on a windows server to see if a file was saved in that folder?

I have server user folders on a windows server I need to monitor

Good morning Andy;

I think that PowerShell might be able to do this.  There are also a number of apps that appear to be able to do this:

monitor a folder for new files - Search

Hi Randy,

Thanks

Hope you are having fun.

Also playing with FSRM native to Windows servers

I am far from a PowerShell guru.  I cloned a script that Bill Grover did to clean-up a folder based on date (delete anything older than 180 days).  It is very powerful if you understand it.  I’m still trying to learn DOS!!!

Powershell scares me.

1 screw up and you can be in it deep to fix it.

It is intimidating – I don’t use it often and agree that one mistake can be fatal

FSRM works OK.
