I wanted to bid this group a grateful farewell.

Today marks one month since we went Live with our new MIS system - PrintVis.

We're definitely feeling the pains of 20 years of working a particular way and unpicking all of that "muscle memory" as our User Base is learning new ways of working and breaking old habits in the process. PSI was like an old friend and those on the team that can write SQL statements in their sleep will miss the AA and BB tables...

The process of implementing a new MIS system really made me appreciate how good of an application PSI was. The opportunities created by PrintVis are also extremely exciting.

Our implementation of PrintVis took way too long - mostly due to the business not having a good handle on configurations & costs. Some consultant Drama, and general fear of the whole process. In the end, GoLive went better than expected and we're not looking back.

The relief I feel personally not running the business on an unsupported app, using a Legacy Windows OS, on outdated hardware is enormous! A week into the GoLive when it was clear that "everything was working" the emotional weight started to fade. I didn't realize the day to day effect that had on me.

This PSI group is one of THE best online communities I've participated in. Thank you all for your support over the years.

Congratulations Brian,

We are in the process of changing systems as well and your reaction is totally our reaction. Absolutely crazy the differences to do the same thing.

And I agree that PSI was a darn good product, will miss it dearly.
