help me to config http proxy in pc ver

plz do help me

in ur app u have given option if using proxy setting i,e connect through an http proxy using host address and port but the same setting i need in pc ver so that i can config the hostname n port

plz do tell me how can i add hostname n port so that whole data traffic should flow through that host only

it will be most helpfull to me if some guide me i this

Hi. These settings are available in Psiphon 3 for Windows.

Click the settings button (it looks like a gear), then configure your http proxy hostname and port under "Upstream Proxy".

ya i tryed that option in pc its giving error

upstream proxy error: dial tcp :i/o timeout

upstream proxy error: psiphon.http proxyconnect#193: unexpexter EOF


but same proxy host is working perfectly in mobile

Is the upstream proxy that you are trying to use on your wifi network or LAN?

iam connected to the usb modem or data card , For Eg: huawei E392 u have got to know  wat i want to say  , my isp is giving free facebook so i want to bypass my total data traffic through facebook proxy  server ...so iam entering proxy name n port ...in upstream but iam geting error

Hi. Psiphon is designed to circumvent censorship on the Internet. I can't endorse or support your specific use case.

Generally speaking, if you are having trouble connecting to Psiphon through an upstream proxy on your network, you should test basic connectivity and functionality of the proxy using other tools first. You could use telnet to establish a connection to the proxy to make sure you have basic connectivity. You could also configure your web browser to use the proxy to make sure it functions normally as an http proxy.
