SUMMARY:
The PeopleSoft Functional Benefits Consultant has extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft Benefits Administration, Base Benefits, and eBenefits. This position is expected to assist the Benefits Functional Lead for the UC office and campus wide systems and applications during the implementation of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
The PeopleSoft Functional Benefit Consultant is expected to assist in execution of overall Benefits Configuration and Designs, related to the new PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 modules that include interfaces as well as integration with external systems.
Seeking PeopleSoft Functional Benefits Consultant who will play a critical role in current implementation of UCPath (PeopleSoft HCM 9.2) project. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of PeopleSoft Benefits experience and exposure to 9.x product suite, specifically Benefits Administration, Base Benefits, and eBenefits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on work progress.
- Responsible to configuration, designs, and support testing
- Adhere to best test practices, standards and processes, troubleshoot test issues, record test results, track and prioritize defects.
- Experience in working through the project lifecycle over multiple assignments under aggressive timelines.
- Coordinate and communicate with team members and business users.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of hands of experience as PeopleSoft Functional Benefits Consultant
- Experience in at least 2 implementation of 9.x version of PeopleSoft with big, distributed customer.
- Experience in HIGHER EDUCATION
- Expertise in designing, configuring and identifying reports.
- Experience with PS Query and SQL is needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should be able to perform successfully in a team setting by aligning to the overall priorities of the project and direction from leads.
- Strong critical thinking, problem
- Experience with MS Word, Excel and Visio is required.
- solving, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with variety of people to accomplish goals and support others.
- Strong testing expertise in defect resolution.
- Should be proactive in completing the job assigned with little direction and be adaptable to changing job requirements.
