Removal of World Traveler failed

Hello,

I would like to uninstall my pre-installed Psiloc World Traveler
application on my Nokia E72. I have applied one suggested by the
application update.

When I choose Remove and confirm removal I get error message Removing
failed. The application is not listed under App. Manager.

How can I uninstall it?

Hello,

I'm sorry but if our application is preinstalled on your phone then it
can't be removed. You can however use Plug-in manager when you launch
application and choose Options to customize World Traveler
application.

Well I can understand but there is no option in your software for
disabling auto update. Maybe you can suggest solution of this problem?

Guys, even in offline mode I'm getting every X minutes requests to
connect. This is annoying, I cannot even stop it to exchange data when
I'm in roaming.

That is not a traveller tools, a traveller will like to have a control
over his phone bill.

I'll definitely contact Nokia for support on this matter as they
preinstalled this app and they have to bring the solution.

Even the preinstalled software should offer the option to be
uninstalled if the users don't like it.

I have the same annoying problem with my newly acquired E72. Among
other E72 problems and bugs in the system, the Psiloc World traveler
continuously attempts to connect to the Internet.
I wish to be able to immediately remove this annoying application.
If anyone finds a way to remove it, please post. A fix to this
problem fro Psiloc would be very welcomed!

Hi.

This is indeed a annoying app! I am not able to remove it as well.

This is what I did: Opened it > Options > Plug-in Manager > Selected
Weather > and selected DISABLE.

Hope this helps. It is really a shitty app. I have lived without (even
though I am a frequent traveler) and since this app is so annyoing I
won't buy it.

Hi Guys,

This shitty App track and spy us 24/7 !!! I checked this with
profesional sniffer and mobile connected trought my WiFi LAN. Fuck App
is integrated hard becouse is Malware/Spyware. If u want kill this app
need to rewrite some bytes in root app file. But for this u need
preprograming BOX for nokia OR just fuck SPYing nokia now and buy one
HTC or Samsung without this problems.
