Children two (2) years of age and under will be permitted to enter Ford Field for Detroit Lions home games without a ticket. They must be seated on a parent or guardian's lap and must not interfere with the sightlines and/or enjoyment of other fans. All patrons three years old and older must have a ticket to gain entrance into Ford Field for Detroit Lions games. Ford Field reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
Fans wishing to upgrade seating may do so through the Detroit Lions mobile app by navigating to "One Pride Experiences" within the app (subject to availability). Upgrades typically become available 48-72 hours prior to kickoff. An upgrade purchased through the Detroit Lions app is only an upgrade from your current ticket location. An upgrade alone is not valid for admission into the stadium.

Print at Home PDF tickets are no longer issued or accepted for entry at any Penn State Athletics venues. Fans still have the quickest delivery and entry option by utilizing mobile entry offered via Penn State Account Manager and Ticketmaster.com. See details below on how to manage your tickets and utilize mobile entry options. Not only does mobile ticketing provide a smoother entry for the fans, but with the impact of COVID-19, will also provide a safer experience for all fans and staff members, while providing you the security from ticket fraud.
Counterfeit tickets
Fans purchasing tickets from unauthorized sources (including StubHub, Vivid Seats, Craigslist, eBay, and ticket brokers) assume the risk that tickets purchased are counterfeit or the barcodes have been invalidated. Any fan attempting to enter an event with counterfeit or invalid barcodes will be denied entry. This includes, but is not limited to, fans entering the game with print-at-home tickets that have been altered in any way.
What is mobile ticketing?
Mobile ticketing allows you to use your mobile device as your game ticket. Fans will gain admission into the venue via a unique QR code which will be scanned directly from your mobile device. For the easiest entry into the venue, fans should download the Penn State Athletics app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android.)
Why is Penn State Athletics transitioning to mobile ticketing?
Mobile ticketing increases the security of the ticket buying and event entry process. Mobile ticketing also provides:
All Child and Regular tickets include unlimited trips through our 4-mile drive-through preserve (last vehicle admitted at 4PM on weekdays and 4:30PM on weekends and holidays) and admission into Safari World, our walk-through adventure park. Mechanical rides and water attractions are included in the admission costs. For guests looking to experience just the drive-through safari, special admission tickets are available at the ticket booths for $31.00 per person plus tax after 3:30PM. Open attractions may vary. Please check website and social media for updates.
You do not need to print your Eventbrite tickets. We are able to scan them from your mobile device or look them up with the name they were purchased under. We do not need to touch your device for admission.
We are open regular hours on rainy days and the animals tend to be more active in the rainy weather. During severe weather conditions, including lightning alerts, rides and some attractions will be closed until safe to reopen.
Lion Country Safari does offer individual annual memberships. You can receive unlimited visits to the park for a year, 20% off food purchases in the Caf ROAR restaurant, 20% discount at our gift shops and 10% discount on our award-winning KOA campground daily rates. Annual Pass benefits may vary. For more information, click here.
The best time to see the animals is when it is raining. The animals generally love the cooler, wet weather and tend to be more active during this time. If you are not interested in visiting the park during the rain, then we recommend you arrive early any day. Early morning is the second-best time to visit as it tends to be a bit cooler and the animals are usually more active then.
Lion Country Safari welcomes you to bring your favorite foods and dine in our outdoor picnic area located just inside Safari World walk-through park. No barbecues, please. Please note that bringing alcohol is NOT permitted.
Lion Country Safari offers animal feeding experiences in our walk-through park, Safari World, for nominal fees. These include Giraffe Feeding Encounter, Lorikeet Feeding and Petting Zoo. These are the only animals which are available for public feeding, and only the foods purchased at the habitats are permitted for these animals, since all of our animals are on special diets.
Our facility is handicap accessible with some exceptions due to building constraints. In the drive-through section, you will be in your own vehicle, or in one of our rental vans (if you choose to rent). The walk-through area is either concrete walkways or boardwalks. There are no stairs. Access to our picnic area may involve going over a short grassy area. The petting zoo is served by paved walkways which are accessible by a person who uses/is using a wheelchair; however, there is a double gate system to keep the animals in, which would require some assistance to the person who uses/is using a wheelchair. The animals in the petting zoo sometimes get excited and raise their front legs up onto people.
We recommend about 4-6 hours to fully enjoy Lion Country Safari. Allow one and a half hours or longer on busy days to drive through the four-mile preserve and at least three and a half hours in the walk-through. You are welcome to drive through the safari more than once on the day of your visit.
Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome. Please inform the ticket booth team member upon arrival so we may alert our wildlife team and walk-through staff of a service animal entering the park. While Emotional Support Animals or Comfort Animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan as therapy animals, they are not considered service animals under the ADA. Service animals need to be under control as defined by the ADA.
Service animals may not enter interactive habitats including giraffe feeding encounter, lory feeding, petting zoo or the primate boat tour. These species view dogs as a predator and may become extremely distressed in the presence of a dog.
No, we do not allow pets into the park for the safety of all animals. We have free kennels (with a refundable $5.00 deposit) available for your use. Please stop in at the office before you go through the ticket booth. We do not know how your pet may react to our animals and how our animals may react to your pet.
There are several picnic areas located through the walk-through park. Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We also have a pavilion that is available only by renting it in advance. Contact eve...@lioncountrysafari.com for more information.
