Hola Pablo,

It has been a couple of years since I left the EBI and haven't been in Bioinformatics since then, so for PSICQUIC you could always send an email to the PSICQUIC mailing list (cc'ed), but I can answer this question since this has not changed since then :)

Whatever query [1] you use for PSICQUIC, you can pass to the PSICQUIC view application in the URL, using the "query" parameter:

For instance:

And that should show the results for all the databases. The only thing to take into consideration is that the value of the parameter has to be URL encoded when necessary.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

Bruno

Hi Bruno,

I have been using the PSIQUIC framework through Java (REST simple client). I end producing a cytoscape graph of what I want. However, what I would like would be to allow the users in cytoscape to be able to link back to the source of the interaction that they are looking through PSIQUIC (by using a link out on the edge). Would it be possible, given either the two interacting proteins UniProtIDs (preferred, as my users could look at all available interactions) or the interaction identifier, to link to the PSIQUIC View web tool that you have? Something like

http://www.ebi.ac.uk/Tools/webservices/psicquic/view/main.xhtml?idA=P37840&idB=P42345

and that would land you on the page with the query executed for those two proteins as interactors? I'm flexible to whatever you want/can, I just need to be able to write it in the URL so that I can set it up as a link out in Cytoscape.

Thanks!
Pablo
