What Paint Should I Use??

Hi all,

I have a project that just came across my desk this morning. It's to
paint a simple 8-pointed star for the bottom of a Pendulum that will
be housed at Clarion Univ.

I have to give the client a quote ASAP, but the problem is the
painting will be on Steel.

Does anybody know what kind of paint I can use on Steel, and do I coat
it with anything to ensure that it will not wear off??
