I'm trying to find licensing agencies that might be interested in my
work, and I'm striking out. The biggest problem, I think, is trying to
find somebody who would license my particular style, and it's getting
frustrating.

I've checked out every licensing agent in the Artist's and Graphic
Designer's Market book and found only one that licenses the kind of
stuff I do. That one turned me down today.

I tried checking into the LIMA (International Licensing Industry
Merchandiser's Association) site, and have been following every single
link (I'm not finished yet) for agents/consultants. I'm running into
many sites that if their sites aren't down, then they have one or two
brands that they already have that they're primarily focusing on.

I also started searching (also not finished yet) through a list of
brands that are similar to mine in the hopes of finding information on
their sites that might give a clue to who licenses them. Again, I'm
losing the battle.

Am I going about this the wrong way?
