I installed the 3 floppy version of Chameleon by Netmanage into a PC that is
running Windows For Workgroups 3.11. It has a Token-ring Network card in it
and the line c:\windows\net start in the autoexec.bat and a line in the
config.sys to load some network drivers.

The problem is when booting the PC, I get some error messages stateing that
the c:\netmanage\netmanag.dos driver is not there. And it isn't. It's not on
my home PC and I re-installed the software on a 3rd PC and the file didn't
appear. The tech support gentleman said it was in his computer?!

Whats the deal!? The program works fine and the Networking issues on the
particular PC work fine but it bothers the person on the PC to get these
errors messages, and it bothers me that I can't get the file out of the
software that it complains on not having.

Does anybody have any suggestions, or and email me the netmanag.dos driver
file?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

If you are running Internet Chameleon, it does not support
Ethernet connections. It is made for dial out PPP/Slip connections
only. From the error message you describe, it sounds as though this
is the case.
