Chameleon & DOS-V/Win-J

Does anyone have any experience using Chameleon with DOS-V/Win-J? Whenever I
try to use it with a slip connection, it works ok with the mouse, but locks up
whenever I touch the keyboard. Turning off Kanji conversion (I use ATOK-8)
doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm using DOS-V 6.2 and Win-J 3.1 on an
(American) Compaq 486/25 Contura Notebook with 8 Mb of RAM.

It works OK with American DOS/Windows, but there are some newsgroups I'd like
to read that use the JIS encoding, so I want to get it working with WIN-J.
