I think I have asked this twice before, but without an
answer.

What is(are) the speed setting(s) on the PSI end of a
connection
which are the functional equivalent of the DTE
(computer-to-modem) speed
setting on the customer side of the connection.

Is this question either

a. stupid
b. irrelevant
c. a variable dependent on location
d. a trade secret ?

Why do I want to know ? Because I don't want to set the
DTE setting
between my serial port and the modem higher than it needs
to be set.

And of course, I want to encourage PSI to set its
facilities to as high a
throughput possiblilty as practical.

I would appreciate an asnwer from PSI, even if the answer
is :
"Got your question. Not gonna tell you. Thanks for
asking."
