Hi all,

i am interested to use PSI for a new project after i was reminded of
it at a EuroPython2010 lightning talk. There it was mentioned that a
Windows port has high priority. May i ask how far this is off? I'd
be fine with just a subset of functionality, i guess. Querying
process status and some rudimentary RAM usage info.

best,
holger

Hello Holger

The patch queue at http://bitbucket.org/flub/psi-win32-patches is a
version that contains psi.arch and most of psi.process.Process (sounds
like that's all you need), but still with some attributes missing.
I think it already contains everything you seem to be after though, if
you don't need ProcessTable().

The reason that I haven't progressed this in a while is that I now
need/want to make the unittests work rather then manual testing and
I'm struggling to get pywin32 build/installed on my development build
of python (which is needed form wmi which in turn seems like the best
option for verifying the results). I made some progress at europython
so hopefully I'll be able to pick this up again soon.

I'd be happy to get feedback, it might motivate me to get on with
finishing the windows port. ;-)

Regards
Floris
