Position: Head, Marketing, Bio Basics
Location: Coimbatore
Type: Full-time, salaried
Compensation: Salary: 5-12 Lakhs p.a., plus incentives, including ESOPs
Experience: Marketing in traditional FMCG, and/or online brands preferable
Reporting to Founders/Board of Directors
Role:
As Head of Marketing, the candidate will:
1. Plan and execute marketing/branding/campaign activities in Bio Basics across all its channels, both direct (B2C, B2B, and Online) and Indirect (Retailer) channels in consultation with other teams within Bio Basics
2. Present ideas for marketing activities, schemes, promotions, events and campaigns
3. Evaluate the existing branding activities, and evolve a brand proposition that can be presented across all channels
4. Be responsible for revenue generation, working closely with Sales Team
5. Work closely with Franchise partners in various cities to empower them for growing their business
6. Work with the Digital Marketing (external) agency to promote the brand and generate revenue through the online channel
7. Meet with Directors to seek their inputs and ideas and incorporate them into the marketing plan
8. Work closely with content generation team to shape the final outcome that can then attain marketing goals.
9. Carry out market research wherever necessary to present ideas and reports on competition, products, industry trends, etc.
10. Liaise with external vendors to execute on marketing collaterals for offline use
11. Plan and execute events promoting the Bio Basics brand and the organic food category

Position: Head of Retail Sales, Bio Basics
Location: Flexible (Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, or Coimbatore)
Type: Full-time, salaried
Compensation: Salary: 5-12 Lakhs p.a., plus incentives, including ESOPs
Experience: Sales function in traditional FMCG preferable
Reporting to Director/Board of Directors
Role:
As Head of Retail Sales, the candidate will be primarily responsible for achievement of targets set by the Board and in addition:
1. Bring contacts with distributors/retailers to enable quick ramp up of sales and achievement of targets for the Channel
2. Manage Area Sales Managers in Bangalore/Chennai/ROTN/Kerala on a daily basis, training them, motivating them to achieve targets
3. Control credit to distributors/retailers, ensure timely collection of payments due
4. Ensure minimal returns from distributors/retailers by building a system of ASMs maintaining a close watch over sales in various stores (both organic, modern trade)
5. Develop close rapport with top stores generating higher repeat orders, and full utilization of the breadth of the product range
6. Evaluate ASMs on a regular basis to recommend payment of incentives on achievement of target specified
7. Present and execute ideas to promote the Bio Basics brand in stores, including schemes, competitions, offers etc. through appropriate marketing collaterals
8. Coordinate with back-end CRM and Ops teams to ensure smooth functioning of the Channel
9. Present ideas to the Board on future strategy of the Channel
10. Work closely with the Head of Sales managing overall sales performance across Channels
11. Report regularly to the Board over daily calls or weekly/monthly meetings, as required
12. Gather and present market intelligence pertaining to products, other brands, general trends, etc.
13. Work closely with the Marketing team for building the brand recall in stores
