What is min/max?

Hi
I recently found and started to use psensor which I think is supernice and really fills a void in my toolbox.
But what about the min/max columns in the sensor-list next to the graphs? I can not figure out exactly what shows.
I would guess its the min/max values measured during the last X minutes. But what is X in that case and how can I change it between for example 1 minute and 1 hour? Or is it measuring from the app-start with no "sliding-window"?

Is there a way to reset the min/max values without restarting the app?
