Hey programming team,

If folks could look over the workshop submissions from the targeted outreach, let me know if they have any feedback or concerns.

Missing from that list but folks who've told me they will do workshop but haven't filled out form yet on:

online campaigning/fundraising - Emma Pullman Jamie Biggar
CSS oil extraction - Emma Pullman/Carol Linnitt
Investigative Journalism - Emma Pullman
environmental law 101 and FOI (freedom of information) - Mae Price
NVDA - Ananda Lee Tan
Hip Hop and social change - Jerilynn
Pipelines and Tankers 101 - Caitlyn Vernon

If there are people you've asked to do a workshop, and they haven't filled out the form yet, please send them a reminder asking them to fill out the form asap.  The form is very important for logistical information, and so we can make sure all facilitators have read the anti-o agreement.

I'm going to be meeting with Christine Boyle tomorrow to piece the workshops/panels together in a schedule.  So far we have almost 65 workshops to offer! And great panels!  I will send out a schedule proposal for feedback on Tuesday.

Moderators:
One thing that is missing is moderators for panels.  If you know folks who could moderate a panel that is currently missing a moderator (most of the panels), can you fill in their name in the panel form. Please don't contact folks yet, as not all the panels are confirmed (waiting on a couple panelists).  But indicate in the 'notes' section your name as the contact person. People who you already know are coming to PowerShift are great suggestions as we already know they are available.

Fri. night
On Friday night, we have space at the beginning of the night for 2-3 speakers to speak for about 5 minutes each.  The idea for this space would be for youth who have been involved in PowerShift/youth climate movement to speak about the history of powershift/youth climate movement, and frame the last year in BC in terms of fossil fuel extraction and climate change.
Someone has suggested Sam Harrison, any other suggestion for speakers here?

Thanks everyone!
