Serif Arabic Fonts

HiI have a question regarding Adobe Arabic font ( -arabic#details-section+adobe-arabic-regular). I wonder whether it is sans-serif or sans font-family. The font's page says it is sans-serif although it looks like serif and every external source says it is serif. Could you please help?

Bear in mind that the concept of Sans Serif or Serif does not exist in Arabic typography. However, the font classification will apply to the Latin characters that are also included in the font. It's easy enough to look at those letters. Certainly, they are serif. I agree though, the Adobe page does not say, you may be misunderstanding the CSS fragment.

If you mean the "sans-serif" part in the CSS code there, it just means that a web site will use whatever sans-serif font a user has installed on his PC, should loading the Adobe font fail for whatever reason.
