1. New Release:
I've made the 2010-11-16 release of the purple Sage library
(http://code.google.com/p/purplesage/), which you can get here as a
tarball:
http://code.google.com/p/purplesage/downloads/list
or you can get by cloning the hg repo following the directions here:
http://code.google.com/p/purplesage/wiki/GettingStarted
2. Some features:
Psage now includes bits and pieces of new-ish code relevant to the
following problems:
* Computing p-adic L-series of modular abelian varieties of
dimension > 1 (Jen Balakrishnan and William Stein)
* Computing Hilbert modular forms over Q(sqrt(5)) (William Stein
and Aly Deines).
* Maass forms (from Fredrick Stromberg)
* Siegel modular forms (from Skorupa, Nathan Ryan, etc.)
* Computation of images of elliptic curve Galois representations
(Drew Sutherland)
* Computation of L-series of elliptic curves over functions fields
(Sal Baig and Chris Hall)
3. Clones:
There are now many active clones of the purple Sage library repo,
which you can see here:
http://code.google.com/p/purplesage/source/clones
If you want to work on psage, make a clone by clicking the button, and
it will appear on that list.
