PARENTS, WE NEED YOU: Friday, May 13th Public Hearing

Hi All. 

The Public Hearing re: the proposed co-location is this Friday, May 13th and WE NEED YOUR HELP. 

 

3:00 - 5:30pm: NEW! View raw footage of PS 9 promotional video in auditorium, while you secure choice seats for PS 9 Families (BEC and other charter school fans are being told to show up at 5pm)

 

5:30 - 6:00 pm: Sign yourself or other parents up as speakers for Public Hearing (some parents who are willing to speak are unable to show up at 5:30pm when speaker registration opens

 

6:00 - ??:  Attend public hearing, bring a poster, make a public comment, voice your support for PS 9's expansion. We're asking families to wear PS 9 t-shirts and if you don't have one, please wear a white t-shirt. 

 

6:00 - 9:00pm:  Assist with childcare in the teachers' lounge.  A couple of parents and teachers have volunteered but we need a few more parents. 

 

Childcare will be available in the teachers' lounge starting at 5:30pm. We will be ordering Pizza and play a movie for the children.

 

Please let me know if you can help out in any way and most importantly, please attend and tell your friends and neighbors and show your support for PS 9!
