PS 9 Old School

Hi.  I want to write something for the PS9 PTA newsletter about the former PS 9 school (the beautiful old residential condo on Vanderbilt Avenue and Sterling Place) experience.  I think a historical look at PS 9 would be an interesting story.  Please contact me if you know of anyone who attended.

My second choice, if I cannot find someone who went to the old school, would be to talk to someone who attended the current school building when it was considered a new school.  There may be a story in that, as well.

I know some people who went to PS 9 in the 70s (I'm not sure which building). I also know someone who lives in the condo.

Great information.  I think one whole issue of a future newsletter will be dedicated to its history.  I have already written a short piece on its namesake, Teunis Garret Bergen.
