Imani House After-School - Updates, Changes 8/30/11

Dear Parents:

Just a few reminders and changes as we look toward a new and exciting school year with our children and you.

Please Note the Following:

• The Important and Compulsory Parent Orientation is Friday September 9th at 6:00 pm - We will discuss the new elements of the program, opportunities for your children and also take attendance this year.  Be sure to bring along all of your questions.

• CHANGE OF DATE:  We will Open the program officially on Wednesday, September 14.  This is the best we can do at this time. (Changed from Thursday, 9/15)

• If you have taken an application please return it as soon as possible.  The guaranteed space return date is August 31.  We cannot guarantee seats for those applications returned after this date as some classes fill up early even if we have not reached our maximum registration.  Thanks for your cooperation.  Applications will however be accepted after this date.

• If Your child's application is incomplete - missing information - We have not processed it. Please get all of your information in quickly (we accept the medical reports ONLY at a later date)


  
  
• Reminders regarding reasons for dropping students
• Excessive absence (above 3)
• Early Pick up - not allowed at all.  Pick up is at 5:45 no earlier.
• Late pick-up with a $35 fee after 6:05 (you have a 20 minute grace period from 5:45 - 6:05 only)
• Non-participation with Parent Committee and required 10 hours of active participation

    Thanks so much for sharing your children with us.  We are looking forward to a great, fun filled, learning year.  We are always available for comments, suggestions, and thanks.
