Dear Class Parents and Grade Reps,

Tuesday May 8th is national Teacher Appreciation Day.

The PTA is paying for breakfast for teachers that morning (using already budgeted but not spent yet monies from the "food & beverage" line).

You'll also see a flyer coming home in student backpacks (it's attached here) encouraging students (and families, too) to write a little note to a teacher and post it May 8th on a "Appreciation Board" that will be set up in the school lobby.

Of course, class-specific activities to honor a teacher are encouraged, too!

Ann

Dear parents and reps,
What are you planning to do with your class to show your appreciation for your teacher? All ideas are welcome!

Thanks,
